Price: 27,999.

Presenting the all-new Samsung F54 5G, the latest inclusion in the F series. This latest smartphone is intensifying the competition in the mid-range market, boldly challenging its own siblings, the Galaxy A34 and A54 5G. In this Samsung Galaxy F54 5G review, we delve into its features and capabilities to determine if it truly stands out among its peers.

Design: The Samsung F54 5G boasts a design that aligns with recent Samsung phones, featuring secluded cutouts for the camera sensors. Its silver stardust variant exhibits an eye-catching prism effect when light hits it. However, the plastic back tends to attract smudges, necessitating frequent cleaning. The silver body blends seamlessly with the aluminum frame, and the volume rockers and power button are conveniently located on the right side. The power button also doubles as a biometric reader, while the SIM tray resides on the left side. The top side remains empty except for a secondary mic for noise cancellation, while the USB Type-C port and speaker grille are positioned at the bottom. The front-facing camera resides in a punch hole on the display.

Display: Featuring a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080x2400 pixel resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio, the Samsung Galaxy F54 5G delivers an immersive viewing experience. Its screen produces vibrant colors and offers excellent visibility even under bright daylight.

OS: Running on the latest Android 13, the Samsung F54 5G showcases the visually appealing One UI 5.1 interface, similar to the A series Galaxy phones.

Performance: Powered by the 5nm Exynos 1380 chipset, the Samsung Galaxy F54 5G offers efficient performance. Its octa-core CPU configuration includes four 2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 cores and four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. The Mali-G68 MP5 GPU enhances gaming and graphics capabilities, providing smooth and immersive visuals. The phone handles tasks effectively, maintaining high frame rates in games and delivering seamless performance in demanding tasks. It comes with an 8GB/256GB RAM and ROM configuration.

Camera: The camera segment of the Samsung Galaxy F54 is a standout feature. Its primary camera boasts a 108MP lens with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and OIS. Additionally, it includes an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture.

The main lens captures detailed and vibrant photos during the day, ensuring accurate color balance and quick focus. The ultra-wide-angle lens adds creativity, allowing you to fit more into the frame. The macro lens performs well in close-up shots, preserving excellent detail.

In low-light conditions, the camera excels, capturing brighter and more detailed photos. The Night mode further improves image sharpness by balancing dark and shadow areas.

For selfies, the Samsung Galaxy F54 5G features a 32MP lens with f/2.2 aperture. Selfies taken with this camera are exceptionally detailed and sharp, requiring minimal retouching. The camera excels in contrast, dynamic range, and color accuracy.

Battery: Equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, the Samsung Galaxy F54 5G comfortably lasts a day. It supports 25W fast charging. However, compared to its competitors, Samsung lags behind in charging speed, and an adapter is not included with the phone.

Conclusion: The Samsung Galaxy F54 5G offers strong performance in the mid-range segment, with its powerful processor and smooth display. However, it falls short in terms of charging speed, lacks an IP rating for water and dust resistance, and does not include an adapter, which puts it at a slight disadvantage in the competitive mid-range market.
