Kaspersky and Airtel have teamed up to make customers' online journeys safer.

 

Kaspersky Lab has collaborated with Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”), India's leading communications solutions provider, to provide internet users in India with immediate security.

In the face of rising cyberthreats, the alliance was created with the goal of raising cybersecurity awareness among Indian internet users and encouraging them to practice cyber safety.

Airtel users will be able to purchase Kaspersky Total Security directly from the Airtel Thanks app in just a few taps as a result of the two businesses' cooperation. And there's more! Customers of Airtel may also take advantage of exclusive offers on Kaspersky's sophisticated security products.

Customers of Airtel just need to download the most recent version of the Airtel Thanks app> Navigate to the ‘Shop' area> Go to the lifestyle offerings section> Start by clicking on the Kaspersky banner. 

Adware, which topped the list with 57 percent of the vote, was the most common mobile danger targeted at smartphone users worldwide (3,254,387 detections). The number of backdoors discovered nearly quadrupled from 28,889 in 2019 to 84,495 in 2020, according to the report. The number of Android exploits discovered has grown seventeenfold, while Trojan-proxy threats have climbed twelvefold. In 2020, Kaspersky solutions discovered 156,710 installation packages for mobile banking Trojans, more than twice as many as in 2019.
